Ingredients

  • 10 Conference pears
  • 1tbsp Baby rice

Method

  • STEP 1

    Peel and core 8 - 10 pears and chop into 2cm cubes.

  • STEP 2

    Place in a pan and cover with boiling water. Bring back to the boil then reduce the heat and simmer for around 5 minutes, until tender.

  • STEP 3

    Drain and puree to the desired consistency, stirring in the baby rice.

  • STEP 4

    *Delicious combined with other purees, such as sweet potato or butternut squash, mixed with natural yoghurt for a fruity pudding, or stirred into cereal to boost your baby's fruit intake.
