Nutmeg and cinnamon spice up this fruit puree to tickle baby's tastebuds, suitable for first weaning

- 8 whole apples, ripe
- 1 pinch nutmeg, dried
- 1 pinch cinnamon, dried

Method

Step 1
Peel and core 6 – 8 of the apples, and chop into small, even chunks. Place in a pan, cover with water and bring to the boil.

Step 2
Simmer for 6 to 8 minutes, until soft.

Step 3
Drain and puree to the desired consistency, adding the spices.
- Delicious served with yoghurt or cereal for older babies
