Adele and Robbie’s wife Ayda: Golden Globe mums!
Adele jokes she only came for a mums’ night out with gal pal Ayda
A night out for new mums doesn’t normally include picking up a gong for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture, but for Adele her first public event was rather successful.
Heading out with fellow new mum Ayda Williams, who welcomed her first daughter with Robbie Williams in September last year, Adele joked her way through her acceptance speech for Bond theme Skyfall saying, “I was not expecting this. Honestly I’ve come here for a night out.” That was after hi-fiving Bond star Daniel Craig and getting a kiss from superstar J.Lo – you know, just average night out stuff!
After giving birth in October Adele and boyfriend Simon Konecki are yet to reveal their son’s name, but Adele did give a nod to her little lad saying, “Thank you so much for letting me be part of your world for a night. I’ve been p***ing myself laughing. This is for my boyfriend who convinced me to do it and for my lovely son.”
According to Heat, Adele refused to comment on his name backstage saying, “It’s very personal.” Darn, it!
Well, whatever his name, we predict some fun play dates with Robbie and Ayda’s daughter Theodora ‘Teddy’ Rose and after tweeting that she’d just met dad-of-three “Daniel f***ing Day Lewis”, perhaps a few more famous faces will be there, too.
