“Everyone’s lovely, supportive, and I feel guilty for being so happy and having such a good time every day. I’m having the best fun, with the most amazing cast,” said Amanda, 39, on her new role as Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical.

Amanda, mum to 5-year-old Lexi, also acknowledged her optimism about having another baby in the future.

“Our future’s bright and you have to turn negatives into positives and try to see everything as a blessing. That’s exactly what we’ve done. I’m naturally a really optimistic girl and we’re not dramatic people. Although what happened is obviously horrifying, we can go on and have more children,” Amanda told Kate Garraway on ITV3’s Lorraine.
