Baby boy for Ed Miliband

Labour leader and partner welcome the arrival of their second son

Ed Miliband, the leader of the Labour party, has announced the birth of his second child with partner Justine Thornton. The baby boy arrived late on Sunday night, weighing in at 8lb 3oz.

“Ed and Justine are overjoyed at the birth of their second child and can’t wait to introduce the new arrival to his big brother, Daniel,” said a spokesman for the couple. “Both are keen to pass on their thanks to the NHS staff at the hospital.”

After all the controversy surrounding the birth certificate of his first son, Daniel, it’s no surprise that Ed has made it very clear he will be heading to the register office “straight away this time” to sign the birth certificate.

In addition, new dad ED plans to take two weeks paternity leave to spend time with his family.
