BAFTA baby bumps: who concealed and who revealed?
Keira Knightley and Benedict Cumberbatch's fiancée Sophie Hunter's show off their pregnancies on the red carpet
When it comes to dressing your baby bump, you've pretty much got one choice to make: flaunt it or cover it up with something floaty.
At last night's BAFTA awards there were two high-profile baby bumps sashaying their way down the red carpet: Keira Knightley and Benedict Cumberbatch's fiancée Sophie Hunter.
Pregnant Keira Knightley attended the awards in London with hopes of winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Imitation Game (although went home empty handed, beaten to the trophy by Patricia Arquette).
Meanwhile, Sophie Hunter was at the awards with her husband-to-be Benedict Cumberbatch, who was up for Best Actor in a Leading Role for The Imitation Game, in which he coincidentally co-starred with Keira. (He also went home empty handed, losing out to Eddie Redmayne).
So, while one pregnant leading lady was clearly happy to make the most of her bump, the other almost kept hers hidden in a flowing maxi dress.
So who concealed and who revealed their bump? Click to find out!
Keira Knightley: flaunting it in florals
Keira opted for this gorgeous black and white floral dress with a black band defining her waist – and showing off the curve of her bump.
Thought to be due around May time, the 29-year-old has previously admitted she's struggling to dress her changing shape. "People do wear tight things when they're pregnant. I don't really go for that," she told ELLE recently.
Sophie Hunter: cover up in black
Sophie's halterneck black dress is such a clever optical illusion that you’d barely know she was pregnant!
Sherlock actor Benedict, 38, and theatre director Sophie, 36, got engaged in November and are rumoured to want to wed in spring this year – before the baby arrives.
