If there’s one thing the Kardashian klan know how to do, it’s grab our attention on social media.
And it seems the famous family saw the perfect opportunity to do just that while newest member Blac Chyna was giving birth.
Chyna – real name Angela – and fiancé Rob Kardashian welcomed their daughter into the world on 10 November 2016.
And they’ve given her an unusual first name – Dream Renee Kardashian.
Dream is Chyna’s 2nd child and Rob’s 1st child. Unsurprisingly, the new parents were quick to share pics and videos of baby Dream with the world.
New dad Rob posted an emotional tribute to his late father, also named Robert, with a side-by-side snap of his dad and the newborn…
“She’s an exact copy,” he wrote. “Pops sent us an angel. It’s truly a blessing. He’s happier than anyone on this day ???? I’m so happy and thankful ☺️ GOODNIGHT”
He continued in another post:
“Today was amazing 🙂 I am so lucky!! Thank you @blacchyna for having our baby and being so strong ! I love you so much and can’t wait to see her get older day by day with you Chy!
“I love you and Dream so much and Appreciate both of you ????????? I know everyone saying that’s my twin but that’s def your nose Chy lol.”
Meanwhile, mum-of-2 Chyna posted a short-but-sweet video clip with a heart emoji ?
Just look at that head of hair, though!
It’s official: Dream Kardashian is already a social media star… but Chyna, Rob and momager Kris Jenner REALLY upped their game by taking on something called the ‘mannequin challenge’ while she was actually being born.
The challenge – for the uninitiated – basically just involves standing still (like you’re a mannequin) while being filmed.
Quite the challenge, indeed. Especially while you’re in labour…
“Dream Team ?#mannequinchallenge” Chyna wrote alongside the video, originally shared to Instagram.
Well, firstly, this is def a unique way to document the birthing experience and get everyone involved! It’s a fun vid for Dream to watch when she’s old enough, too.
But secondly, Chyna, are you some kind of Wonder Woman? How she managed to keep still, in that moment, we don’t know!
We hope (for her sake) that this funny vid was staged and shot before the, er, trickier parts of labour began. Or at least that it worked as a nice distraction from labour pains…
Have your say
What do you think – could you have done this challenge mid-way through labour? Or were you too busy to film anything?
Were you keen to share your little one’s first pics on social media straight away?
