Celebrity baby roundup: let’s hear it for the dads!

Baby girl for actor Daniel Baldwin and adoption for Sex and the City’s Willie Garson

Actor Daniel Baldwin and wife Joanne, former British fashion model, have welcomed a baby daughter. Little Finlay Rae was born at the famous Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, LA, on Friday, August 7, and weighed in at 7lbs 10oz.

Finlay joins big sister Avis Ann, 18 months, as well as Atticus, 13, Alexandra, 18, and Kahlea, 25, from Daniel’s previous relationships. Is it just us, or does Daniel look more ‘rounded’ than before? Maybe he’s suffering from male pregnancy weight gain

Sex and the City’s most famous GBF (Gay Best Friend) Stanford Blatch, played by actor Willie Garson, has become an adoptive daddy! Willie will soon to be packing his bags and heading to New York to film the next SATC movie, but this time, he’ll have a little traveller alongside him – 8-year-old Nathan.

Following years of planning the adoption, Willie, 45, has revealed that he’s in the final stages of the process for his son-to-be. After meeting Nathan at an adoption fair in LA, he was shocked that his boy was still on the adoption books. “I couldn’t believe my kid was actually available for adoption. He’s so cute and sweet,” the doting dad told TV Guide magazine

Nathan has been living with the actor since February but now the final adoption process is going through, he will be getting ready to move over to New York for the filming of upcoming sequel, Sex in the City 2. Willie thinks Nathan could be in for a big shock: “I think he’s going to be freaked when we go to New York, where the SATC cast are like the Yankees!” he said.

One for the girls…

TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher is pregnant with her second child – just a month after accepting her partner Paul Sampson’s proposal. Already parents to 3-year-old Oscar, their second child is expected in autumn 2010 and they want to keep the baby’s sex a surprise.
