Chloe Goodman, a reality star best known for MTV’s Ex On The Beach and Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother, has opened up about her devastating miscarriage experience.

Because, she says, her baby would’ve been due later this month, towards the end of October 2017 ?

24-year-old Chloe told Reveal Magazine that when she found out she was pregnant, she and then-boyfriend Jordan Clarke were elated.

But she was crushed during their 12-week scan, when a doctor delivered the devastating news that the pregnancy wasn’t viable.

She’d had what’s called a missed miscarriage: where the foetus has passed away, but the body doesn’t quite recognise what’s happened, and continues to carry the baby.

More like this

"I was on the motorway for 20 minutes when the contractions started,” she told Reveal. “I thought I was going to pass out at the wheel, so I pulled over on the hard shoulder.”

She was given a pill by her doctor to start the miscarriage process, and says she was told the effects would be just like a ‘heavy period’.

Sadly, for Chloe, they were much more extreme. Stopping off the motorway, nowhere near a service station, she pulled off her pants in a nearby embankment, and just tried to ride out the pain.

“I just sat there, covered in twigs and absolute c**p, having these contractions on the side of the motorway. It was so heavy. It was awful.

"I had to send him [Jordan] my location from my phone. He carried me into the car. I couldn't walk. My legs were like jelly.

“I was so upset because I thought I'd lost my baby up there on the motorway."

Chloe lost the baby 2 days later – something that devastated both her and Jordan.

It’s always tough to read stories like these – not least because they are so raw and just so personal.

But we’re really glad Chloe’s made the decision to talk about what happened to her. We hope it helps someone else who’s gone through a missed miscarriage, or something similarly gut-wrenching, feel a little less alone in the world ✊

Because sadly, missed miscarriages, or miscarriages of any kind, are more common than we’d like to think.

Thanks for sharing, Chloe ?
