After reportedly being spotted leaving a hospital in Melbourne, rumours of an X Factor baby on the way have been rife for Dannii Minogue. However, there’s no need to get excited about what her maternity wardrobe will look like just yet, as the singer-turned-judge has denied the whispers of a pregnancy.
“Reports that said that Dannii was seen in hospital having a particular type of test are absolutely untrue,” her agent, Melissa Le Gear has said.
Currently taking a break from her judging duties on the X Factor, 38-year-old Dannii has been spending time with her family and rugby player beau, Kris Smith, 31, in Australia. Rumours of a pregnancy began after an unidentified ‘source’ told a newspaper that Dannii was ‘over the moon about the pregnancy,’ and even suggested that she had been at the hospital for a nuchal fold test that assesses the risk of Downs Syndrome.
Poor Dannii has been in constant scrutiny about whether she and Kris are going to start a family, despite her uncertainties. “He would love a baby, he asks me on a daily basis. I’m not so keen. I say to him, ‘If you can have the baby then let’s go for it’. I’m not sure I want that happening to my body,” she said in October last year.
