Female British soldier serves in Afghanistan while seven months pregnant!

Private Kayla Donnelly gave birth two weeks after returning home from the front after surprise pregnancy

A female soldier served on the front line in Afghanistan unaware that she was seven months pregnant, according to the Daily Mail.

Private Kayla Donnelly, 21, revealed that she apparently didn’t know that she was carrying a baby whilst fighting in Helmand province from March until September last year. Normally, as soon as a fighting soldier discovers she is pregnant she is sent away from active service in war zones.

Kayla claims that she thought the weight gain was down to the pressures of serving in the army. She only discovered that she was pregnant with her son Josh when she gave birth following surprise contractions during a holiday in Tenerife.

Kayla, from Cumbria, gave birth two weeks after leaving Afghanistan – luckily!
