It’s something all working mums will recognise, and it seems that even Hollywood actresses aren’t immune to it now that Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted in an interview that she suffers from working mum’s guilt, too.
Despite her GOOP website getting panned for being ‘out of touch’ with real mums, it appears that the 38-year-old has more in common with everyday mums than you might think.
“I wish I could say, ‘Ohh yes, it’s great’ but my son was sobbing yesterday when I left the house. it was terrible. I could actually cry right now,” she admitted during an interview with New! magazine.
“He doesn’t understand and it is really, really hard but, at the same time, you just think, ‘I have an opportunity to take this once-in-a-lifetime thing and I will bring that experience home with me and, with any luck, I will be a better mother because of it.”
