Helena Bonham-Carter to be Cinderella's fairy godmother
Helena Bonham Carter has won the role of fairy godmother in the forthcoming live-action movie ‘Cinderella’.
The film will be directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh, and is being described by industry insiders as a ‘fairy tale reboot.’
Bonham-Carter will be joined by Cate Blanchett (as the wicked stepmother) and ‘Game of Thrones’ star Richard Madden as the prince. According to Yahoo movies, filming will begin in London this Autumn, for release in 2014.
The role is sure to be popular with Helena’s two children, 9-year-old son Billy Ray and 5-year-old daughter Nell.
