Kate Middleton is rumoured to have joined a growing number of A-list celebrities who think pregnancy yoga a pre-natal must.
The 31-year-old, who’s due to give birth in July, is apparently keeping fit and healthy during her pregnancy with pre-natal yoga a source close to Kate is reported to have told US Weekly.
Reports have suggested that Kate, who’s always been super-sporty, has hired a personal yoga instructor so that she can keep in shape.
“Kate has a yoga instructor visit her at the palace,” the source said, adding that Kate and William’s dog Lupo is also helping the Duchess stay active, with the Kate taking Lupo for walks a few times a week “to increase her heart rate a little.”
The Duchess, who is rumoured to have let slip the sex of the baby, has also reportedly been reading parenting books to get ready for the baby’s arrival.
“She’s been reading as much as possible,” the source allegedly said, “from how to be a good parent to how to stay healthy for the baby.”
Kate joins a long list of celeb mums-to-be who’ve practiced yoga while pregnant. Fearne Cotton, January Jones, Sienna Miller and Drew Barrymore are advocates of the Zen-like activity, which aside from helping you keep fit is also said to boost maternal bonding with your baby.
