It goes without saying that whether your unborn baby is a boy or a girl, they truly are a little blessing ❤️

But that doesn’t mean it’s not fun to indulge some of the old wives’ tales, while waiting to find out the sex… right?

EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa, and her ex-TOWIE hubby Dan Osborne, already know what their 2nd child is going to be, and are keeping the news private.

But now their fans think they’ve figured it out, too – using cryptic clues and looking out for ‘tell tale’ signs in her latest bump snap ?

"Is it true you’re having a girl? There’s a video online where you refer to your baby as she and then deleted the video," one fan asked in the comments on Instagram.

Another claimed she heard the couple’s 3-year-old daughter Ella inadvertently ‘reveal’ the news on Instagram:

"I noticed that Ella mentioned a sister in one of her stories before too."

The fact that Jacqueline's 25-week bump is very neat, and sticking out front, also suggests it’s a girl, according to all the superstitions - as one fan pointed out.

Whatever the sex, we hope she’ll want to share the news with the world eventually. After all, her baby's not due 'til Summer 2018 ?

However, it would seem that most people aren’t as keen to hear her preg updates as her fans (us included) are!

In a recent vlog on her new YouTube channel, Jacqueline’s World, the star confessed that 2nd time around, no one seems to be fussed about her pregnancy…

“I feel last time I was constantly being told what is right and what is wrong, and to do certain things like count the kicks and everything like this,” she explained.

“This time round no one has been really telling me, no one really cares this time round. So, I’m like kind of forgetting that I’m even pregnant.

“Even your friends and stuff like when you’ve done it once, it's like, ‘Oh it's kind of done now’.”

Worryingly, Jacqueline said she felt she wasn’t getting enough facetime with a midwife – so we do hope her next appointment is really helpful, and she gets to ask all the questions she needs ?

In the meantime, we should add that we hope all pregnant women – whether it’s their first or their 7th – feel like they can join in on the MadeForMums forum to seek support and get a bit of reassurance from fellow mums 24/7 ?

Have your say

Did the shape of your bump – or your toddler – give away your baby’s sex? Or did you choose not to find out at all?

And if you’ve had more than one pregnancy, did you feel, like Jacqueline, that everyone was a bit less bothered after the 1st?

We’d love to hear your stories – so let us know on Facebook, Instagram or in the comments below.
