With an estimated £65 million fortune in the bank, you’d think Jamie Oliver would think his children are very lucky. However, dad-of-four Jamie thinks that it can be a curse and thinks that most celebrity children are “little sh**s”.
Talking about how he feels his children are unlucky to have a famous dad, the 35-year-old told Hello! magazine, “I think my children are always going to be labelled, ‘Jamie’s child’ so they will need to learn to work harden than anyone else.” he said.
“They just can’t be anonymous – they’re always going to be judged,” explained Jamie.
Jamie, who became a dad for the fourth time earlier this month to son Buddy Bear hopes that his son and three daughters Poppy Honey, 8, Daisy Boo, 7, and 17-month-old Blossom Rainbow, will do their own thing when they get older.
Citing Paul McCartney’s fashion designer daughter as a rare example of a celebrity child who has made something of herself despite having a famous father, Jamie said, “I think Stella McCartney’s an exception. That would nice if they could be independent, creative and happy like that, but we’ll see.”
