Jessica Alba says motherhood has made her more confident

Hollywood actress Jessica Alba reveals becoming a mum has made her more comfortable in her own skin

Mum-of-two Jessica Alba has spoken about how becoming a mum has changed the way she feels about herself – and her body.

In an interview with LA Confidential magazine, Jess said, “I feel like I’ve finally come into my own and become the person I always should have been, or that I always wanted to be. I feel more grounded, free and comfortable in my own skin than I ever have.”

Talking about how her fashion choices have changed since becoming a mum, Jess said, “I didn’t use to wear a lot of colour. I guess I’ve been more adventurous with my style and clothes choice.”

Jess added, “It doesn’t feel as heavy or as big a deal. Before I was incredibly bashful and shy. When I was younger, I was really uncomfortable in dresses and high heels or anything like that.”

The 30-year-old actress also spoke about balancing her career with looking after her two girls, Honor, 4, and Haven, 6 months.

“It’s not perfect. I’m constantly feeling I should be spending more time at home,” Jess said.

More recently Jess took to Twitter complaining about feeling ill. She told her followers that her “allergies are killing me rt now,” and said she was suffering from a “cold sinus thing.” She even had to cancel her Oscar plan on Sunday because she wasn’t feeling up to it.

Get well soon Jess. And just for the record you’re looking drop-dead gorgeous as a mum!
