Katie Price gets Bunny's ears pierced

But opinion on the 1-year-old's piercings couldn't be more split – with some commenters horrified that Katie got Bunny's ears pierced.

"They shouldn't be done until the child can make the decision themselves! Why cause unnecessary pain on a child, when it's not needed?" one commented.

"It's horrible putting them through it just for mothers benefit!! I waited till my daughter was old enough to say she wanted them doing," another added.

Others leapt to Katie's defence.

"Children have had their ears pierced at a young age for centuries. Does Bunny look in distress? No! At the end of the day, Katie may be a celebrity but she's also a mother. She wouldn't put her children through anything that would cause them distress," one commented.

"What's it got to do with anyone else but Katie's business!! She's a lovely mum, and it looks cute! My daughter had her ears pierced at 3 ??," another added.

Responding to some of the comments, Katie said: "Thank you to everyone sticking up for me, and Kieran is half Spanish - all the family have ears pierced! But Princess hasn't ?."
