Kerry Katona celebrates ‘best pregnancy ever’ at baby shower

Atomic Kitten singer wants a natural birth

Kerry Katona only has 2 months of pregnancy left to go as she’s due to give birth to another daughter at the end of April.

So to celebrate the imminent arrival, Kerry threw a star-studded baby shower.

At the event, Kerry posed for a family portrait with her fiancé George Kay and children Molly, 12, Lily Sue, 11, Heidi, 6 and 5-year-old Max for OK! Magazine.

She told the magazine: “I'm all belly and bump and I'm the smallest I've ever been. I'm 11 stone and I'm usually nine, so I've only put on two stone - with Max I put on four.

“It will only take me about a month to lose the weight. As soon as I get my mind set on something, it just falls off me.”

She added: “This is the best pregnancy I've ever had. I think it's because I'm happy. George is a great support, and I'm genuinely in love.”

Kerry’s baby shower held at her Oxfordshire home was attended by former Atomic Kitten bandmates Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton, 5ive’s Scott Robinson and Ritchie Neville, B*Witched star Keavy Lynch, 911’s Jimmy Constable, Blue’s Anthony Costa and Honeyz stars Celena Cherry and Mariama Goodman.

Kerry also revealed she is hoping to have a natural birth with her next child, despite initially being told she may have to have a Caesarean because the baby was breech.

She said: “Heidi was a Caesarean because she was breech, but with Max I had a natural birth and this time the midwife said if she's breech again, I'll have to have another Caesarean. That panicked me because I didn't like it.

“I asked what I could do to help her get in the right position so I've been getting on all fours, putting my head lower than my bum, bouncing on the bouncy ball and thankfully her head is now in the right position, so I can have a natural birth.”
