Nick Cannon has described the moment his wife Mariah Carey gave birth to their twin babies, Moroccan and Monroe, as ‘over the top’ and called himself the production manager.

“It was definitely over the top. I was the manager of the whole production. I was the DJ and had the camera in one hand. The lighting had to be perfect. My wife was like, ‘if you’ve got the camera, you make sure the lighting is right.’ The doctors were adjusting the lights,” Nick revealed on US chat show, The Talk.

“Mariah also wanted her song Fantasy, from her performance in Madison Square Gardens, playing so the twins could come out to a round of applause,” added Nick, 30.

The America’s Got Talent presenter also spoke about his one-of-a-kind ‘push-present’ to Mariah.

“You know you can get the hand and feet prints? Well nobody told me how difficult it would be to get those little feet! I was in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) trying to get the babies’ prints. But we pulled it off and got them printed on this really nice frame with Bible scriptures. It was hard work!”
