Matt Damon’s kids ‘go crazy’ over broccoli

The celebrity dad’s quirky meal plan pays off

We are used to seeing Matt Damon accomplish amazing feats on-screen as hero Jason Bourne, but now the hunky actor has truly achieved the impossible and persuaded his children to enjoy broccoli.

Matt, father to daughters Isabella, 6, Gia, 4, and Stella, 23 months, as well as his 14-year-old stepdaughter Alexia, has put his kids on an unusual yet effective eating regime.

“I cook pasta with butter and steam broccoli. It’s all about getting enough healthy food in front of them every three hours. It’s all about starting early,” he told People magazine.

When it comes to getting the youngest members of his brood to eat veggies, action man Matt takes no prisoners.

“My wife and I introduced it to them at a very young age and they just don’t know any different,” he revealed.

“Luckily, I found out all three of my youngest girls love broccoli. There are times where I can’t get them to eat protein or a little piece of fish because they are going crazy over the broccoli. Sometimes they’re the ones bribing me to eat more of my vegetables.”

Tsk tsk Matt. Don’t you know you’ve got to eat your greens if you want to grow up to be big and strong?
