Mum-of-2 Michelle Heaton might have only just given birth to her son Aaron Jay 8 weeks ago, but the fitness fanatic is already back in the gym
Writing in her OK! online blog, The Big Reunion star said: “It’s been 8 weeks now since I gave birth to baby Aaron Jay via caesarean section, so I’m well and truly back in the gym.
“Obviously it’s important to get the all-clear from your GP before starting out again. I got the OK a couple of a weeks ago but it’s taken me 2 weeks to hit the weights.”
The Liberty X singer admits she’s been doing some child-friendly exercise at home. “There’s nothing like dancing around the living room with a baby in one arm and a toddler in the other. Hey, whatever burns the calories.”
But now AJ is 8 weeks old Michelle is taking some time out for herself.
She said: “I do love working out, and it gives me a bit of ‘me time’ which all parents are allowed.
“Mums, don’t feel guilty about handing your kids over to your husbands or the creche for an hour. Do what you need to do to keep your sanity. I truly believe it makes us better parents!”
Michelle will launch her pregnancy fitness DVD, Michelle Heaton: Active Pregnancy, later this month.
