Dutch pushchair maker Bugaboo has created its very own jogging buggy, the Bugaboo Runner – and no surprises that it’s sophisticated, sleek and chic.
Even more impressive is that it’s designed as a base frame – which fits any Bugaboo seat unit. So, instead of having to buy a whole new pushchair, if you have a Bugaboo already, you just buy the jogging frame (complete with large wheels).
So you won’t have to buy two different pushchairs if you need a day buggy and a running one. Clever!
What we love about this brand new extension kit is that the seat units can be used in any positions, parent or forward-facing, which is unusual as most running buggies are only forward-facing.
Suitable to use from 9 months (like other jogging buggies), the Runner also has a speed-control brake. Just one squeeze from either hand, anywhere on the handlebar, engages it to control your speed.
The large 16″ rear wheels and fixed 14” front wheel are built to offer a super-smooth ride and jogging experience.
What if I don’t have a Bugaboo already?
You can buy the Bugaboo Runner as a complete buggy with its own seat unit, which of course comes in a variety of eye-catching Bugaboo colours.
And if you need any additional extras, like a basket, car seat adaptors and sun canopy, they’re available too.
Unusually for Bugaboo, one of the best things about the Runner is the price, as it’s cheaper than other Bugaboo buggies.
To get your hands on the complete Runner pushchair (chassis, seat unit and adaptors) it’ll only set you back £583.
But if you’re already a member of the Bugaboo brigade then it’s even cheaper as you’ll spend £349 for the chassis and adaptors – result!
