How did Noel and Lliana meet?

TV presenter Noel has been in a relationship with radio presenter/podcaster Lliana Bird since 2010.

As of 2018, they've been together for 8 years. They're thought to live together in North London.

Lliana's pregnancy

Lliana's pregnancy was kept under wraps, and wasn't revealed publicly until around February 2018.

She shared a couple of pics revealing a bump on Instagram, also revealing she and bump had taken up boxing up to 2 times per week.

On 25 March 2018, she wrote that she'd be taking a little time off from work: "Running about on set whilst looking like a giant egg was actually a lot more fun than you might imagine ? Taking a brief hiatus now but watch this space for future announcements ?"

Noel's close pal and Kasabian band member Serge Pizzorno also confirmed the couple's happy news, telling The Mirror: “He’s going to be the best dad. It’s going to be amazing. I can’t wait.”

Baby Dali

Lliana gave birth around the end of March/beginning of April 2018. The baby's sex and exact birth date is unknown, though reports suggest it's a girl.

The couple haven't spoken publicly about their little one, but the name they chose is said to be Dali, a tribute to Noel's favourite artist, Salvador Dali.

However, Noel and Lliana haven't outright confirmed their baby's name is in fact Dali, though it's been all but confirmed by numerous sources, and numerous high-profile reports (which we reported on, too).

Family life for Noel and Lliana

Well, as you'd expect, Noel and Lliana have been keeping quite 'mum' about their private family life (as is their right).

They have been papped a fair few times, out and about in London, with their baby in tow.

In April 2018, shortly after the bird, Noel and Lliana went for a walk with their newborn wrapped in a yellow blanket.

In May 2018, Noel was seen carrying his little one in a black Kari Me baby carrier wrap, as the couple enjoyed a stop at a cafe.

Lliana, who's a bit more active on Instagram than Noel, has referenced her new life as a mum a few times, talking about how she feels about breastfeeding, her back hurting (*preach*) and joining a new mama WhatsApp group.

"Since becoming a mum I’ve been supported endlessly by my amazing partner, friends, family & a wonderful whatsapp group of fellow new mums," she wrote in one caption.

"These amazing women have been on hand throughout the days & long nights. Many of us up together in the wee hours."

Great British Bake Off

In 2017, Noel Fielding was announced as one of 3 new Bake Off hosts to join original presenter Paul Hollywood, when the show moved from BBC to Channel 4.

Noel's beloved by fans - but also caused a tiny bit of controversy with parents when fellow host Sandi Toksvig shut him in a fridge as a joke.

The latest series began in August 2018, kicking off with Biscuit Week. GBBO airs on Tuesdays at 8pm, on Channel 4.
