Parents spend £312 a year on junk food treats
Children are being given £6 worth of sweets, chocolate and other snacks a week by their parents

The average parents splashes out over £300 on junk food each year, according to a recent survey of 1,244 parents by MyVoucherCodes.
Of the parents surveyed, 21% revealed that they do it to ‘bribe’ their children. Almost 1 in 10 parents admitted to buying their children treats everyday with 27% claiming they do it simply because their children asked for them!
With the average amount spent by each parent every week totalling £6, mums and dads are shelling out £312 a year feeding their children calorific sweet treats.
