Pregnant Kimberley Walsh: 'I'm ready to hide away now'

The Girls Aloud singer admits that pregnancy is taking its toll on her body

Pregnant singer Kimberley Walsh has revealed that she’s starting to feel the strain now her bump's hit the 7-month mark.

After a hectic week, which included being interviewed by pregnant pal Holly Willoughby on This Morning and performing at the Tour de France in her hometown of Leeds, the former Girls Aloud star admitted that her busy lifestyle is starting to take its toll.

“[The Tour de France] was a huge event that went out worldwide, so it was a lot of pressure but the performance went really well,” she told OK! Magazine.

“For the first time, I'm ready to hide away for a bit and chill out.”

Kimberley said she had a good laugh with This Morning presenter Holly as their bumps clashed during a hug, and added that she’s going to make empire line dresses a staple in her maternity wardrobe, now that her bump is growing so quickly.

"I'm not sure how much bigger it can get,” she said.

“If it carries on at this rate I'm definitely going to get to the stage where I can't stand up!”
