Prince George poses for his first stamp (and nails it)
This has to be the CUTEST stamp ever made
Prince George has posed for his very first postage stamp – in a family portrait to mark the Queen's 90th birthday – and he stole the show.
You see, Queen Liz might have appeared on more than 200 billion stamps over the last 60 years, but something about the Queen's great-grandson's chubby cheeks makes him a natural.
While his grandfather Prince Charles and great-grandmother sit on a sofa, his dad sits on a chair – but the 3-year-old is too little – so they stand him on a pile of foam blocks, with his dad holding his hand to steady him.
There's no doubting who's the star of the show. And according to royal aides, George was "as good as gold" during the photo shoot in the White Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace that lasted around 25 minutes.
But the photographer, Ranald Mackechnie, revealed George was "fascinated" by the lights.
The stamps will be released on Thursday in post offices nationwide. We can't wait for little George's face to start popping up in the post!
