Sam Bailey reveals baby girl’s name with first pic
The X Factor winner insists her daughter isn’t named after controversial singer!
Sam Bailey has revealed that she's calling her new baby daughter Miley Beau Pearson. But the X Factor singer insists she’s not named after Wrecking Ball singer Miley Cyrus. "I just really like the name,” she told Hello! magazine.
Sam posed for her first professional photo with Miley just 2 weeks after giving birth, proudly cradling her sleeping newborn in the stylish shot.
The X Factor winner’s daughter has lots of dark hair and clings to her mum’s finger.
The 37-year-old already has daughter Brooke, 9, and 5-year-old son Tommy with husband Craig Pearson. The former prison guard says she was only able to fulfil her dream of having a 3rd child because she won The X Factor last year.
"I always wanted 3 kids, but before The X Factor we couldn't afford it," she said. "So I was resigned to the fact I would just have the 2. Then next thing you know I find out I'm pregnant and I was like, 'Yes. I'm finally going to get my wish.'"

And that’s not the only thing to come from her time on the show – Miley’s godmother is Sam’s X Factor mentor Sharon Osbourne.
"Never in a million years did I imagine I'd be having a baby whose godmother is Sharon Osbourne," she said.
Sam is glad to have Miley home after being told by doctors that she was likely to be born premature.
"I got told at 29 weeks that I had a 70 per cent chance of having the baby in the next couple of weeks, so I bought a load of premature-baby clothes and every day I woke up thinking, 'Am I going to have the baby today?'" she said. "I was in hospital at about 31 weeks for a few days because I went into early labour and had to have a steroid injection."
But it wasn’t until 3 weeks before her due date that a healthy and happy Miley was born.
