Simon Cowell struggles with baby car seat
He may be the X Factor maestro, but he still faces the same new parent problems as the rest of us
It doesn’t matter how easy it is to fit a car seat in your car, it can feel like a big challenge the very first time you do it. Especially if you bought it a few weeks before your baby’s birth.
So it’s no surprise that new dad Simon Cowell wasn’t his normal overconfident self, when he tried to install baby Eric and his car seat in his SUV.
It took one of Simon’s security people to explain that Simon had placed Eric’s car seat (the Cybex Q) the wrong way round. He’d made the classic mistake of placing the seat facing forwards rather than rearwards.
With some help from his security person, baby Eric was soon safely installed in the car.
