Teacher ‘needs’ two spliffs a day to help her relax

Austrian woman fights for her rights to stay calm

A stressed primary school teacher said she should be allowed to relieve the pressures of her day with cannabis after police found huge marijuana plants in her garden.

Maria Wechsler, from Austria, is fighting prosecution in the high court. She claims she needs two joints a day to calm down after work.

If she wins, this could open the doors for other Austrian teachers to light up a spliff at the end of a day in the classroom.
