Prince George had a busy weekend. First, he got all dressed up to join the family for a celebration for great granny’s birthday on Saturday. Then on Sunday, he had to go and watch Daddy play polo. It’s a hard life!
But it wasn’t any old tea party on Saturday, it was Queen Elizabeth II’s annual birthday parade, Trooping the Colour. While the family watched from the balcony of Buckingham Palace, Prince George was held by dad Prince William and joined by mum Kate, uncle Harry, granddad Prince Charles, granny Camilla and of course, great granny Queen Elizabeth II.
The young Prince – who turns 2 in July – wore a sky blue shirt and shorts with white socks and matching blue leather shoes. The parade was Kate Middleton’s first public outing since giving birth to Princess Charlotte 6 weeks ago.

Getting excited for the parade
Before he appeared on the balcony, the 2-year-old watched from the window with his nanny Maria Barrallo – and seemed pretty excited to see his dad on horseback!
Look at that dad!
Prince George couldn’t help but point as the Red Arrows performed a flypast above their heads.
Come on mum
While at the polo on Sunday, Prince George pulls his mum Kate down a hill.
What’s that hat?
Prince George is rather unimpressed by his dad Prince William’s polo outfit.
