Victoria and David Beckham have received so many baby gifts and freebies that they’ve had to give a luxury bundle away to charity.
Baby Harper Seven Beckham has reportedly received 14 top-of-the-range pushchairs, including two Bugaboos (Bee and Cameleon), an iCandy Peach (the brand that apparently reduced Posh to tears in pregnancy), an Orbit and an UPPAbaby Vista. Plus Victoria won’t be running short on carrycots, swings, baskets or changing tables.
“Oh my goodness yeah. We get sent lots of products and clothes,” Victoria said in a magazine interview last year. “I’m never going to become blasé about that. I really appreciate that someone has gone to the effort to send me things.”
But the Beckhams have explained that they have a policy against accepting gifts and where possible return them to the sender. But given the deluge of baby products for their new little girl, returning everything would be a huge project, so instead the couple has sent many of the items to charity shops.
A friend of the couple reportedly told the Daily Mail, “There are going to be some lucky families in Los Angeles over the next few weeks who have no idea they are using pushchairs intended for the Beckhams.”
If only we had generous celebs living in our neighbourhood!
