Everything from waxing to facials are avilable here

First impressions…

The long drive through the grounds, leads to the main mansion house, golf course reception (for your other half) and pavilion spa building. Rooms in the pavilion are contemporary and extremely comfy, and built right above the spa facilities, so you can have a dip without a trek outside. The freestanding bath in the huge en-suites is the ultimate in relaxation, you could happily float in it for hours.

Facilities

The large swimming pool and private atrium with a stunning five-metre tropical aquarium, are the places to head to for a relaxing few hours, but if you’re an active mum-to-be there are loads of studio sessions and gym classes to try too. Weather holding up? Try the outside tennis courts.

For pampering sessions there are 13 treatment rooms, a hair salon and beauty boutique. If you’ve got a tot in tow, you can take advantage of the supervised crèche and playrooms for under-8s.

Treatments

Everything from waxing to luxury facials are on offer, but if you’ve got a bump to look after, go for the mother-to-be-facial for a real treat. It’s been designed with your complete comfort in mind, with every minute filled with lotions and potions from SPC Skincare, and motions to soothe, relax and refresh your face, neck and shoulders.

Your face is cleansed and replenished with sweet-scented oils, and massaged until the skin is completely smooth and supple. The shoulder and head massage banishes any baby niggles in a flash, and if your tootsies and legs are feeling the pressure, the rub-down at the end will sort them out in no time at all.

Magic mummy moment:

Laze around the large pool and perch on the underwater seats next to the giant fish tank mounted on the wall. The tank adds a luxurious touch to the pool area, which also has sun loungers and seats so you can sit and watch the world float by.
