    Hi everyone

I wonder if any of you could confirm what happens once you've had your 20 wk scan.

Should I have taken something with me for the hospital to sign to confirm that I am pregnant or is a signewd form sent to me or my employer?

I had my 20 week scan on Friday and have just realised that I didn't get anything and am not even sure what I should do.

Can anyone clarify what happens and what I should do?????

    Thanks
    Tara

    Hello,

I got my MATB1 form from my midwife at 22 weeks - the first appointment after my 20 week scan.

They sign it with your EDD then you give it to your employer.

I don't know if this is the case with everyone - just how it happened with mine.

Hope this helps! Do you have a midwife appointment coming up?

    xx

I got mine at the 20 week scan hun, the midwife completed it for me at the hospital (which was good as the GP's midwife is fecking useless!!)

I'd contact your MW and ask her xxx

thats really odd....but maybe areas have different policies. My Employer said I must give it in asap around 20 weeks! I was worried as i was a little late with it (1 week) lol

antenatal care is so different everywhere! 28 weeks is late to get it as you could start maternity leave at 29 weeks if you wanted!
