    Hi ladies

Just received an email about my NCT antenatal classes and it said to bring a pillow, beanbag or ball. Is this just for practising the labour exercises on?

Also, does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced beanbag from - probably won't be using it again after the birth so don't really want to spend loads!

    Thanks, NN 18+2 xxx

Yes that's what it'll be for - my NCT letter said the same thing, so we all turned up with pillows and she then said we didnlt need them til week 4 or something!

Dunelm mill should have cheap beanbags, or probably matalan - unless you particlarly want a beanbag though, I'd just take a pillow rather than spending money - or just take a pillow the first week and have a chat to the 'teacher' about how useful it'd be.

Get a ball for argos, think a gal in Nov got one for about ??5! Its supposed to be good for labour and can be used for exercise too.
