I have 8 or 9 tins of Nutramigen Lipil 1 and some ready made Cow and Gate bottles/cartons left over from the long journey to finding out formula suits F. Does anyone know if there is any way this could be donated? It seems a shame to waste it.

will the chemist not take the nutramigen back?

I tried to donate as I'd a tin with L but it was unopened so asked hv if she knew where a woman's refuge was and she said they aren't allowed to promote ff so wouldn't be able to hand them in, so I binned it, years later I was on a domestic violence study day and I asked the refuge staff and they said they'd welcome things like that (baby food/formula etc) so if u know where one is I'd donate there

Hospitals and chemists won't take it.
I gave our pharmacy a load of unused tins of Aptamil Pepti when we were trying N on different milks, I know they just dispose of it. It's such a waste.
Try a refuge or advertise it on free cycle. On the Mumsnet allergy pages people offer unused formula too.

Try your local mums' page or selling/giving face on Facebook, people are always giving away formula on ours :)

Could we maybe start a thread here offering any leftover/ not needed formula? Just an idea x

We are only a few days in to figuring things out with Orla's digestive system (constipation, being sick, screaming in pain) and I already have a tin of Aptamil and a tin of Cow&Gate that haven't even been opened.
