TP, I know you mentioned the other day that you had one of these. Do you use it overnight? Just looking on their website at the dimensions and wondered whether to get a Toddlepod so it lasts longer, O is quite long and I'm thinking that the Poddlepod won't last him long? Just wondered what you'd suggest?
Thank you in advance! Xxx

Can't help with sizes but we have a poddlepod (on a recommendation from TP!) and we use it overnight in O's crib, it fits right in. He was so so small when we brought him home he was literally drowning in the crib and I was freaking about him sleeping in it. I was also struggling to keep covers on him and tucked in so they didn't come loose and cover him. He sleeps in it great and I even bring it downstairs sometimes for him to sleep in, it must be very warm and it keeps him snuggled in which is handy as he likes to be held to fall asleep but this way I can put him down in the pod and he's still quite snug!

We started with the poddle and it lasted until 5 months. I'm not sure I would have liked him in the toddle as a tiny newborn but since O is nearly 2 months I think it would be ok. Yes always used them overnight and some people (who haven't ever seen one in real life I should add) have said it goes against SID's but I have no concerns whatsoever. F can now roll about on the floor and trying to crawl but in the pod he doesn't even try to wriggle. Without it he gets frantic in the cot and when I put him to sleep he just rolls around and gets upset, then crashes into the bars. The poodle fits a crib I believe (we had a crib though) and the toddle fitted my crib. If you look on the poddle pod Facebook page you'll we loads of pics x

Ive got a poddle pod too. It fits in the moses basket so he sleeps in it overnight and during daytime naps.
This was him in it on christmas day when he was 3 days old, we tested it for size hence a blanket being under him, its not normslly,
Random (but relevant!) question - I guess you can't use these with a baby monitor? We are buying a baby monitor as H is a nightmare, he watches every sleeping baby to make sure they are still breathing etc. So I'm not sure we would get much use out of the poddlepod at night time as the baby monitor might take priority.

Yes it works with the angelcare breathing monitor absolutely fine

We bought one when S was about 4 weeks old. She used it for a couple of weeks in the moses basket as she was just lost in it without the pod. We had it on our armchair downstairs for daytime naps and have just this week put it away. She's nearly 6 months and big for her age and she was fine in it (I'd say 'on it' rahter than 'in it'!)

If I was closer by ladies you could come for a cuddle anytime!
Pep we use it with the angelcare movement sensor in the crib and it works perfectly. The bit in the middle isn't as padded as the sides so they are still lying on the monitor. We have the sensor under the crib mattress and then the pod over the top with no issues!
TP I think you should be getting commission on these purchases!x
