Trying to conceive

I have been reading about the benefits of having acupuncture while trying to conceive but also the benefit for people who have had a number of miscarriages.
I just wondered if any one has had experience with this and what your opinions are?

I've recently started acupuncture. I don't have any specific fertility issues but I've got a bit stressed about TTC. I'm not usually one for alternative medicine but I have a work health plan which covers it so I thought I'd try it. I'm 22dpo on my first cycle since starting the sessions so I can't yet comment on it's effectiveness but I find it really relaxes me which has to be a good thing. My acupuncturist said that hormone issues can take 2-3 months before you start to feel the effects so bear that in mind. I go to a community acupuncture where around 8-10 people are treated at the same time and it's much more affordable than private sessions. I thought it wouldn't be relaxing but the room is fairly dark and it's very quiet with background music so I often fall asleep! Make sure you find an acupuncturist who specialises in fertility. I let mine know what day I'm at in my cycle each time and she treats me accordingly.

I meant cd22 not 22dpo! I'm 8dpo!

I'm hopeful that if anything it will relax me and help me deal with the stress of trying/previous miscarriages.
I found a lady that specialises in it and has great testimonies, but it's not cheap!
But after 3 miscarriages, I'm kinda willing to give it a go

Yeah I thought it can't do any harm so go for it. For me it's an hour a week where I can totally relax and forget about things. I actually really look forward to it. Fx for you x
