    Morning everyone,
Can anyone help me out here. my AF was due last wed (9th April) but she still hasnt arrived and I dont even feel like she is going to arrive anytime soon. I have done a HPT (well, in fact, several lol) and they are all BFN. Has anyone else experienced this and still turned out to be pregnant? I have a few symptoms such as nausea, tender boobs, weeing more and a strange taste in my mouth oh, and I had an odd experience on sat morning where I started to really laugh and really cry at the same time. Also (TMI coming up) I have had a sort of prickling feeling down below. Im very confused. :\?

Yup I've had this and going through it again. Ask the dr's for a blood test it's the only way. In fact demand one but they may ask you to wait a few more weeks yet (another one probably) I'm having bloods done on wed (21 days late). But am going to buy a cbd on way home in a little while. xx

    Hiya,

My AF was due last thursday so did a CBD on friday and got a BFN. AF still hasnt arrived although i've had cramps over the weekend. I did a Tesco test this morning and got a faint BFP!! I'm going to get a CBD later to make sure. So i didnt get my BFP till i was 5 days late, this happened to me before when i found out i was PG with my lo.

I've been extremely tired all weekend and had cramps which feel like AF is coming but thats about it. Fingers crossed for you! xx

Hi, all the symptons are looking good - it can actually take 21 days past conception to get a level that can be read on a HPT (and thats the early ones!!). Just googled HCG levels because, I don't want to hijack your post but I've just had another BFN and was wondering if it was my levels again...

Just hold out - know it's hard and test again at the end of the week. xx

yes, they can be really low up until 21 days after conception - they can be as low as 18!! Bearing in mind that I think CB is 25.. So that means we could have another week or two before a BFP!!
I spend more time googling all of this and on here instead of working - it's worse then facebook...

I googled HCG levels and found a website that was explaining the difference in levels - makes us feel abit better though - must hold on to PMA was going to bin the blood test on wed but it's the only way I'll know I'm now 19 days late unless I count what ever that was last weekend as my AF!

AH! Thats encouraging and also interesting. I have an appointment at the docs in the morning to see if he will do a blood test. Being only 5 days late, do you think it would be worth it?
We need to be einstien to work all this out. Think I might take up rocket science. It would be easier to understand than my body at the moment lol.

So true - I think your window idea was the best one! I would go to the dr's they are obviously better than mine. he can only say no and ask you to wait abit longer. At best he does the test and you get results by thurs at the latest. At least you'll know.
It seems it's more common than they want to admit to.. HPT aren't all that accurate we could be the 1%!!! xx

I spoke to someone called Ruth. I just told her how late AF was and some of my symptoms and if I should go and see doc tomorrow or cancel my appointment. She told me that it can take time for HCG to build up and to test in a few days. She said clear blue are the best tests and to keep my appointment for tomorrow at the docs. She said my symptoms looked promising.
