  • 100g Broccoli
  • 100g Cauliflower
  • 190ml Milk
  • 50g Cheddar cheese
    grated
  • A pinch of black pepper

Method

  • step 1

    Peel and cube the potato.

  • step 2

    Cut up the broccoli and cauliflower, removing any woody stems and keeping the florets.

  • step 3

    Place the vegetables in a saucepan, add the milk, bring to the boil then simmer for around 12-15 minutes until tender.

  • step 4

    Take off the heat, add the pepper and cheese and mix until melted.

  • step 5

    Mash to the right consistency for your baby.

  • step 6

    Serve with sweetcorn if your baby is old enough to chew and swallow it.
