Rice pudding

A great store-cupboard stand-by suitable from first weaning

- 100ml baby’s usual milk
- 3 tbsp baby rice
- 2 drops vanilla essence

Method

Step 1
Heat the milk in a pan until hot.

Add the baby rice and whisk until the mixture is smooth and lump free.

Step 3
Remove from the heat. Add the vanilla and stir well.

Step 4
Serve warm or cold.
- Egg Free, Gluten Free and Vegetarian.

If you have a little more time to cook and want a more textured rice pudding, add a little cooked pudding rice and blend until the lumps are small and soft.
