Few things sum up how stressful breastfeeding in public can be than this hilarious song. Which probably explains why it's has become a bit of a viral sensation.

Made by Aussie group Sparrow Folk, Ruin Your Day pokes fun at those people who object to mums breastfeeding their babies in public – and make a point of telling us how much we're offending them.

As you'll see in the video, singers Juliet Moody and Catherine Crowley brilliantly – and sarcastically – play on the idea that new mums wanting to breastfeed in public are ‘exhibitionists’ who only set out to upset random strangers.

"Everyone knows new mothers are exhibitionists," they sing. "Taking every chance they get to ruin your day with tits..."

The inspiration for the song apparently comes from Juliet's personal experience. She's a mum of 4 and, after getting dirty looks and comments while nursing her young son Ollie in a café, so "she was inspired to put pen to paper, pick up her ukulele, and show the world how ridiculous it was that she was able to ruin everyone’s day" with her breasts.
