Strawberry and peach muffins

Suitable from 10 months

  • 100g caster sugar
  • 225g plain flour
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 200ml milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 peach chopped
  • 100g strawberries chopped


  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 190 degrees/gas mark 5.

  • Step 2

    In a small bowl, mix together the oil, milk and egg and beat lightly. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Add the chopped strawberries and peach and stir to coat with flour. Pour in milk mixture and stir together.

  • Step 3

    Fill muffin tins so they are two-thirds full.

  • Step 4

    Bake at 190 degrees/gas mark 5 for 25 minutes, until the tops feel springy to the touch. Let them cool for 10 mins and remove from the tin.
