I understand that every pregnancy is different and so I wondered what the spectrum of experiences was like on here? What were your physical symptoms of pregnancy like in the weeks following your BFP?
I'm only 5+1 so don't really expect to feel much at this time although my pregnancy app suggests I should be feeling sick by now which is a sign of high levels of hormones. I'm not feeling at all unwell and so trying not to read too much into it and rather see it as just having a different experience.
So how was 1st tri for you??

Slightly sore boobs and utter exhaustion were my only physical symptoms - no sickness in any of my three pregnancies at all, so I agree with not reading too much into that! You might be lucky and avoid it altogether or it might come later. Try not to worry too much, hard as it is, and remember that every pregnancy is different.

I don't think I really started to feel sick until about week 6/7. Other than that, sore boobs, major exhaustion, a few cravings and just "feeling pregnant" lol. Try not to worry. Its still very early days. x

I know what you mean SP, I thought I'd suffer really badly because everything you read suggests you will!
Last pregnancy I was extremely tired up to 13 weeks and felt a bit queasy if I didn't eat regularly.
This time I have even less symptoms! Even to the point that I tested again this morning!!
I know its hard but try not to worry.

At 5+1 all I had was tender boobs, started feeling sick around 6-7 weeks and even then I wasn't actually sick, just felt it. Ignore the app - what a way to make people worry eh! xxx

at had sore boobs at the beginning, then a bit of nausea for a few weeks but no actually sickness. The biggie was tiredness! Which is still affecting me!
I know it can be a bit worrying when you dont feel sick or have lots of symptoms but it doesnt mean anything is wrong, enjoy it!

Tired, queasy, tired and more tired!

Morning! Congratulations btw. I'm new here but from the sounds of your BFP post it was long overdue, so I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
With my son, apart from one incident of reall bad morning sickness and overwhelming fatigue, I didn't really have any symptoms throughout the 9 months. This pregnancy is completely different though. I constantly feel like I could throw up, I can barely stomach anything but water before about 11ish although bizarrely I'm only tired because I've been waking up early, I don't feel like I could sleep standing up! I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. On the flip to me, my cousin was sick as a dog through her first pregnancy and had nothing through her second.

Sore boobs and tiredness straight away. By week 7 I felt a little nausea if I didn't eat, but no sickness. Try not to worry about what you should be feeling.

really tired & my boobs ached a bit. i was only actually sick a couple of times but felt sick alot of the time.

Like others, I had extremely sore boobs and was utterly exhausted. The sickness kicked in at about 6 weeks.
Mrs V, I must have missed your BFP. Am really happy for you and wish you the best for this pregnancy x

I had sore boobs, feal nauseaus and had mild AF type cramps, I actually thought AF was arriving. It was a heightened sense of smell that made me test. The actual sickness kicked in aroudn 6/7 weeks, so you never know it may well show up for you shortly....although I really hope you avoid it altogether, cos it's crap, I've still got it at 24 weeks!

Oh lovey, I'm not going to say don't worry as that's a real pot kettle comment from me!
I had sore boobs, but they weren't agony and were actually ok in the morning, they just got sore over the course of the day. At 5 weeks I don't think I had any other symptoms. I started noticing the tiredness about 7 weeks I think and was a bit queasy around the sametime but I only felt like that when I hadn't eaten. If I had breakfast and then a snack before lunch I wouldn't have even noticed it. The tiredness got worse around 9weeks and the first time I was actually sick was 10 weeks. I realised then that the days I was actually sick I was really tired and hadn't had enough sleep so then as long as I was getting an early night I felt fine. This time is the flip reverse from the last one when I was in the loo hurling up at 4+5 so it really has been very different for me xx

The same as many others. I never had any sickness/ nausea at all. Boobs seemed to grow overnight and were tender in the early weeks but other than that just tiredness.
Also had mild AF type cramps that Mrs Mack described at around 6 weeks.

At 5 weeks I didn't really have any symptoms, I can remember asking a very similar question on here myself as I was worried.
By week 7 I was exhausted and felt nauseous all the time. I was also starving hungry all the time. I was lucky and i wasn't actually physically sick, maybe you'll get away with it too.
It's so hard not to worry, I've spent the entire pregnancy worrying about something. Hopefully what these posts shoe you is that everyone is different, do don't compare yourself to other people.

I was hideously bone tired, falling asleep at 7pm on the settee tired, nauseous, and had the most godawful metallic taste in my mouth that only salt n vinegar squares crisps could make bearable! The worst thing though was my poor boobs, they were swollen, incredibly tender, itchy as hell and really hot. At work I'd have to go into the loos a couple of times a day and bend over the sink full of cold water to get any relief

Its hard not to worry but everyone is different. At 5 weeks I just had sore boobs and period type cramps which was a bit scary. I also randomly went off porridge! Nausea kicked in around week 6/7 and I think its more common for it to start then rather than any earlier. Then it didn't go away til around 14/15 weeks. I was rarely badly sick but everything turned my stomach.

In my first pregnancy I had no symptoms and didn't find out I was pregnant til 11 weeks. Second pregnancy was a mmc and I also had no symptoms. This time I've been exhausted and feeling sick although today (5+5) I feel fine so now I'm worrying that something's wrong!
Early pregnancy is such a worrying time and there's nothing we can do unfortunately :( I really wouldn't read much in to not having symptoms as some people just don't.

Sore boobs, exhausted and horrific ms... I tried all the 'tricks' they suggest and in the end the only thing that even slightly helped me was as getting acupuncture! Like everyone has said though, it's hard but try not to worry, everyone's pregnancy is different!

Thank you very much all for sharing! There's quite a spectrum of experiences. I dont think I'm not worrying more than your average person who is newly pregnant but it's hard to ignore the nagging doubts when the info talks about how you should be feeling when you don't! It was nice to hear your stories nonetheless and I shall endeavour to enjoy this time! Thank you! :)
