This will be my first baby following 3 mcs last year, I'm just under 15 weeks pregnant now and normally a size 6-8, I'm definately starting to show a little now and am wondering if that is about normal for a first baby for someone my size? And also sooo looking forwards to feeling the baby wriggle-it suprises me to think that you can have something as big as a lemon thrashing around and not feel anything?! When did you all start to feel your babies move? WIll it be sooner because of my size?? Can't wait

With my son (first pregnancy) I felt flutters at 16 weeks. I'm now 12 weeks pregnant with my second and desperately can't wait to feel movement! x

I first felt my baby at about 15-16 weeks, only little flutters though! Properly from about 20-22 weeks onwards!! I'm 40 weeks today

I was showing early like you as i was a size 6. Im now 22wks and wearing size 10 tops and living in leggings.
I first saw my lil wriggle bum moving in the bath from about 10wks, but you have you watch really close. Soon as i saw her on my first scan i was amazed at how much she was moving yet i couldn't feel her. She is a constant wriggler now though, from about 5am til about 10am. Then shes off again after dinner.
People say it feels like butterflies, i thought it felt more like trapped wind (sorry, best why i can descibe it)
Good luck, x

im a size 6/8 as well and 14+5 with my second baby. with my first pg i was wearing normal jeans until about 17 weeks, could have gone a bit longer if id opened the button. i popped around 20 weeks i think. first felt the baby move around 16 weeks then.
this time im about the same size-wise. still wearing my normal jeans comfortably so i expect i can get away with it for another week or two. today was actualyl the first time i felt my baby move this time round.
and i agree with nicola hague, i think it feels a bit like gas too. its lower down though and sometimes more localised, if that makes sense?

12 weeks with both, which is earlier than average, especially for a first one. I had to wear maternity trousers at 8 weeks as my waistbands were so tight, but other people didn't notice til 11-12 weeks at v earliest.

Hi this is my first baby and I felt flutterings across my lower tummy around 15 weeks.
Now its very definite kicks at 22weeks which is very exciting!!

Everyone is different, I didn't show until I was 25 weeks! And because I have an anterior placenta (at the front) I didn't feel movements until 20 weeks, and it was kicks straight away, none of the flutters.
Now at 31 weeks when the baby moves the whole world moves with it! LOL!

I'm 17+4 and have a definite bump although it's not huge! I felt movements from about 15 weeks but they were really low down and had I not already got a child I'm not sure I'd have known what they were! I have an anterior placenta so the movements are really faint, can't wait to feel proper kicks!!

how would you describe what it feels like? this is my 1st baby following 3 mcs so have never got this far until now, sometimes a think maybe i can feel it but could well just be wind x

I was about a size 12 (New Zealand dress sizes) with my son and there are photos of me at my work leaving/baby showery thing at 35 weeks and you could hardly tell I was preggers! Just looked like I'd become pudgy. Felt flutters from about 15 weeks, definite kicks at 21 weeks. Everyone thought he was going to be tiny even at scan at 38 weeks they said about average size then we was a whopping 10pound 6!! Midwife said it was just the way he was lying the entire time and Im quite tall for a chick too.

DollyBow - I say it feels like trapped wind but everyone is diff.
Im now 24wk 1day and my lil princess is never still in the day & sleeps when i do (although she is up about 4 when other half gets up)
Im loving being preg now, the first 3months i hated it.
