Chicken pasta bake

Easy to make, tasty chicken pasta dish that will suit the whole family, suitable from 8 months

  • 400g pasta
  • 300g chicken breast, diced
  • 1 400g can tomatoes
  • 1 drizzle olive oil
  • 75g cheese, grated
  • 1 handful fresh basil


  • Step 1

    Place the chicken in an oven-proof dish, drizzle with olive oil and cook at 200C/400F/Gas mark 6 for about 20 minutes.

  • Step 2

    While the chicken is cooking, place the pasta in a large saucepan of water and simmer for around 10 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Add the pasta, tomatoes and basil to the chicken and bake for a further 15 minutes.

  • Step 4

    Finally, sprinkle with cheese and bake for around 10 minutes until the cheese is golden.

  • Step 5

    Mash to the required consistency.

  • This dish provides the perfect opportunity to add in other finely chopped veg such as mushrooms, onions or peppers to the sauce.
