Pork and apple stew

A warming stew with courgette and sweet potato, suitable from 7 months

 Pork and apple stew
  • 50g lean pork mince, cut into 1cm pieces
  • 1 splash cooking oil
  • 0.5 whole apple, peeled and diced
  • 50ml water
  • 50ml apple juice
  • 0.5 whole courgette, chopped finely
  • 0.5 whole sweet potato, chopped finely
  • 1 pinch cinnamon, (dried)


  • Step 1

    Lightly fry the mince, and drain off any excess fat.

  • Step 2

    Put all the remaining ingredients into a saucepan and simmer until well cooked (about 10 minutes).

  • Step 3

    Drain the fruit and vegetables mix but keep the cooking water. Add the meat to the fruit and vegetable mix and mash to the desired consistency.
