Tough talking chef and football ace on a dads-and-sons camping trip flee the woods after bumps in the night
Celebrity dad pals Gordon Ramsay and David Beckham got more than they bargained for on a boys-only camping trip with their sons this summer. The famous pair took their boys to the woods near Malibu for some father-son bonding time.
Having settled in their tents, they heard gunshots and the manly pair fled to the more familiar surroundings of a five-star-hotel, the celebrity chef confessed on Radio 1. “David and I took the boys. We went and set up the tents… and woke up about 4.30 in the morning to gunfire! We just heard the bangs,” he said in an interview with Chris Moyles.
“I told the kids there was a storm coming so we packed up. We checked into the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego,” he explained. But not before Becks had jumped on the chance to cook up a storm on the camping stove! “It was a one-pot wonder,” Gordon described. “Seriously, he put it all in. We did scrambled eggs and fried eggs.”
Let’s hope Posh’s cooking is a bit more varied!
