Myleene Klass tells new mums to ignore "Breastapo"
Celeb mum-of-two defends mums who made to feel guilty about stopping breastfeeding, asking, "Aren't we all just doing the best we can?"
Myleene Klass has taken to Twitter to personally defend mums who she feels are being made to feel guilty if they stop breastfeeding early.
Calling the critics the "Breastapo", new mum Myleene warned that negativity towards new mums who decide not to keep breastfeeding can be damaging to new mums. She also says she breastfeeds for her baby, not to satisfy others.
"I breastfeed for my family, not to pacify the Breastpo," Myleene tweeted. "I think people should be very careful when it comes to judging how others raise their children."
Myleene, 33, also added, "Aren't we all just doing the best we can? Besides, you never know what a person's circumstances are."
Myleene's tweets come shortly after fellow celeb new mum Kym Marsh found herself in the middle of a heated breastfeeding debate, after she revealed that she had stopped breastfeeding her daughter Polly.
