Lindam numi safety gate, £60
Sleek, modern and chic, the numi safety gate from Lindam slides on and locks into a low profile wall mount. Lindam say this lets it be removed in seconds when it’s not needed. You can adjust the width from 620mm to 1015mm. The numi also features something Lindam call “ITS” – that’s “Integrated Tuning System”. Basically, ITS helps you get a millimeter-perfect fit. It’s available in dark wood or aluminium finishes. Both look stunning, but you can check them out for yourself in our Lindam numi safety gate review.
Inglesina Mhome Loft rocker, £70
Luxurious and super-stylish, the Inglesina Mhome Loft rocker could easily end up being the coolest bit of furniture in your lounge room! The rocker’s base is a gentle curve and your baby’s own movements make it rock. It has adjustable recline positions and there’s a pull-out foot underneath if you want to keep it stationary. Another genius idea is kept under the seat too – long straps that can be used to cart it carefully from room to room with your baby on board.

Mutsy 4Rider Single Spoke buggy, around £354
Comfy, durable and safe, the Mutsy 4Rider Single Spoke is certainly contemporary looking. And its approach to how you buy is just as modern – you purchase each component separately. For example, the chassis costs £235, and you can add the deluxe pushchair seat unit and hood for £119. If you want, add the carrycot and raincover (£149). To create a travel system, add the Mutsy Traveller car seat and adaptor (£159) or Mutsy Safe2Go car seat (£119). For your toddler, you could add the Funseat (suitable from 12 months) for £69.
